The challenge.

Nigeria throws away what it could be eating, burning or building with — while the young people who could fix that are locked out of the training that would let them.

Waste is burned, not banked

Organic waste that could become animal feed, cooking gas and fertiliser is dumped or set alight in the open, in the same neighbourhoods that go without either.

Green skills sit behind a paywall

Solar, battery assembly, biogas and climate-smart agriculture are where the jobs are going. The training costs more than most out-of-school youth and underemployed graduates can raise.

A skill without a kit earns nothing

A certificate does not pay rent. Without tools, seed stock or a first customer, a graduate goes straight back to where they started.

Since 2024 CEID Hub has trained and engaged more than 1,600 young people, distributed 355+ green-skills starter kits and supported 270+ households with home gardens. Your gift keeps that work free for the people who need it most.

Donations fund training materials, starter kits for graduates, field costs for conservation cohorts, and the upkeep of the living lab in Bodija.
