1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences and tell us how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way and are covered by this policy too.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These make the website work and keep it secure, for example by protecting forms from spam and keeping logged-in administrators signed in. They cannot be switched off.
- wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*: used only for site administrators. Session to 1 year.
- Local storage set by our page builder (Elementor): remembers interface states such as a dismissed popup or an open menu. Kept until you clear it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. This helps us improve the site and report our reach to partners. Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details.
- _ga: distinguishes unique visitors. 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps track of your session. 2 years.

Third-party content
Some pages embed videos (for example from YouTube) or link to Google Maps and WhatsApp. When you play an embedded video or open these services, the provider may set its own cookies. We do not control these cookies; please see the provider’s cookie policy.
Donations (Paystack)
When you choose to donate online you are taken to Paystack’s secure checkout. Paystack sets its own strictly necessary and fraud-prevention cookies there so the payment can be completed safely. These are controlled by Paystack; see Paystack’s privacy policy.
Newsletter
Our newsletter tool, MailPoet, may use a cookie to recognise subscribers who click through from our emails, so we can see which updates are useful. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
3. Managing cookies
