Green Vocational Education Training (GreenVET) Programme
The Green Vocational Education Training (GreenVET) program is a pioneering initiative under the Climate Engage Innovation Development (CEID) Hub, designed to empower African youth by providing relevant technical and vocational education in renewable energy, food systems, and intelligent waste management.
Our mission is to foster sustainable socio-economic development through education, equipping young people with green technical skills, knowledge, values, and hands-on necessary to lead the green transformation in Africa. The GreenVET programme aims to promote education, employment, business and technology development, and active citizenship among youth.

Renewable Energy
- Solar panels set up, installation, and management
- E-mobility design and production
Sustainable Waste Management
- Production of biogas from organic and inorganic waste
- Creation of briquettes for cooking from farm and organic waste
Agriculture and Conservation
- Construction and installation of greenhouse farm kits.
- Organic vegetable gardening set up
- Forest creation, tree planting, and conservation of indigenous trees.
Program Goals
Empowerment through Education
Equip students with technical skills in green technologies and sustainable practices. Our vocational training programme aims to create employment opportunities in the jobs market, and the opportunity to start earning by applying the skills they have acquired. We are providing vocational training for youths, including those from underserved communities. Our trainees will have the opportunity to intern at established organisations.
Economic Development
Foster economic growth by preparing students for business opportunities and careers in green jobs and sustainable industries.

Promote environmental conservation and sustainability through practical education and community projects.
